World Card Making Day!

In honor of World Card Making day (yesterday) I was able to make a few cards between the normal weekend business.  And of course my daughter joined it.  We both used the sketches from Jillibean Soup who had posted a color challenge along with two sketch challenges.   Here are our cards, hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Summer Vacation: Kids Challenge

Simon Says Challenge Blog is hosting a kid’s challenge this month.  This year’s challenge is anything goes with glitter.  We had two of my daughter’s friends over and they were happy to play in the “deserted” pile of die cuts and stamped images that my daughter and I had not had the opportunity to use.  My daughter had previously colored the die cut animals with Copic markers and colored pencils and Gamsol.  She also had fun showing her friends how to use my Cuttelbug.  Some sequins, glitter card stock, and distressed glitter was used.  Not sure how well the photos will show them but they are there!

AAA Cards: Game #41 Woodland Animals

My daughter has been anxious to use her raccoon stamp that she won from Some Odd Girl while participating in Paper Issues online crop.  Here is her card featuring a woodland creature for the woodland creature challenge on AAA Cards.

Caring Hearts Card Drive

My daughter, her friend, and I made some 23 cards todays to donate to the Caring Hearts Card Drive. Fun times watching them use my supplies and what they put together (and what they wrote on the inside of the cards).  Next step is to mail them off by the 28th!
