Happy December! Hard to believe that Christmas and winter break are this month! This month at Creative with the Stamps the theme is Santa or Gifts. I have tons of Santa stickers and paper but no stamps, luckily I have plenty of gift stamps! For this card, I used Simon Says Merry and Bright along with a newer stamp set I bought during their Stamptember event. You have until the end of the month to link up and be sure to check back in the middle of the month for more inspiration.
Hello! Its hard to believe Thanksgiving is this week. In keeping with a fall and thankful theme I used “fallish” paper from Pebbles along with a thanks die from Lawn Fawn to create my card based on this month’s sketch from Stick It Down. For the heart, I coordinated with a red and burlap heart from Charms Creations. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Hello! For this month’s sketch at Stick It Down, I made a shaker card full of bats and sequins. You have until the end of the month to link up to this sketch or any of the other sketches. Have fun creating!
Over World Card Making Day weekend, my daughter and I started making holiday cards for several card drives for the elderly. We used the same theme many times so that we could make as many as possible. Here are a few of the cards that we made. Hoping to make a few more by the end of the month!
The drives I am participating in are Pink Fresh’s The Holiday Project, Sparkly Inks Card Drive, and Caring Hearts Card Drive.
Happy September! This month I am the featured design team member at Stick It Down. I had a lot of fun with the sketch and one of the newer stamp sets from Simon Says. I love the bright happy colors and the sentiment!

SpiegelMom Scraps is a specialty sequin mix shop based in Racine, Wisconsin (US). SMS’s owner, Jody, began her love of crafting as a child with her Nana and making coasters with yarn and plastic canvas. From then on she never looked back and has always been creative. She’s been scrapbooking nearly 20 years and has always loved to sprinkle pretty little details throughout her scrapbook pages. Jody’s love of creating, adding tiny details and sparkle led her to start her business in 2010. Since then SpiegelMom Scraps has grown, along with Jody’s busy family, to a one woman small business with a fabulous design team called the Sparklers. Jody and the Sparklers enjoy teaming up with other small businesses to swap products to create with and hosting fun events on social media. Jody would love you to join them on their creative journey by following SMS on social media. There’s LOTS of inspiration and a wonderful community in the 15 Minutes 2 Scraps Facebook group also. Please stop by and leave a comment telling us where you heard about SMS!

It’s hard to believe it is the middle of July! I needed a birthday card for my nephew so I used some boyish paper along with the Epic Dad stamp and die set from Wplus9. Here’s this month’s sketch followed by my take on the sketch. This month’s sponsor White Rose Crafts is offering a coupon code for $25 worth of products so be sure to link up!
White Rose Crafts owner, Kay Barnes, is a paper-crafter of many years’ standing, who hails from Yorkshire, England. The White Rose is the heraldic symbol of Yorkshire, and dates back to at least the Fourteenth Century – possibly even before that! And it’s well known in the UK that Yorkshire people are proud of their roots!
Kay moved to the United States, initially, to work as director of an organization providing help to the homeless on the outskirts of Washington DC. When that contract came to an end, she moved out of the city to enjoy country life… and with time to devote to it, and the encouragement of a whole set of crafty friends, she decided to embark on a new path that would give expression to her other great passion in life… for all things glittery, shiny, and papery…!
You can visit Kay and White Rose Crafts store at their BLOG, Facebook page, and Instagram.
