MFT Summer School Session #1

I played along with My Favorite Things Summer School Session One before I started back to work for a bit next week.  There were five challenges or assignments to complete.  Below are my cards along with the “assignment” name.

#1 White Space

#2 Primary Colors

#3 Repetition

#4 Complementry Colors

#5 Symmetry

I am also planning to enter several of these cards into Simon Says: Red, White and/or Blue challenges this week.

Creative with Stamps July Challenge #28 Flag

Happy July!  This month’s theme at Creative with Stamps is flags.  Here’s my first card I made using a cut file from Doodlebug’s Yankee Doodle Dandy along the word celebrate stamped along the bottom of the flag.  Be sure to check back midmonth for more inspiration!

I am happy to say that I will be continuing on the card sketch team at Stick It Down!  Lots of fun stuff (including sponsors and prizes) is going to be happening so be sure to check things out over at Stick It Down.

Creative with Stamps Mid Month Inspiration

Its time for another card featuring this month’s theme at Creative with Stamps – Cute Animals.  I used some of my Lawn Fawn stamps and dies to make this cute skunk card.  You have until the end of the month to the link up, we can’t to see what you create!

MFT Sketch #369

I am still having fun with my Christmas goodies, and I have to say I am loving the Lucky Dog stamp and die set from My Favorite Things. Today, I am playing along with this week sketch challenge over at MFT Card Challenges.   Here’s my card along with the sketch they provided.

Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge and Paper Smooches Anything Goes

Playing around with some of my Christmas goodies and I choose these cards to link up to Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge along with Paper Smooches January Challenge Anything Goes.  I am loving my new stamps and especially my Sentiment Label Strip.  Have a great Sunday!

Jillibean Soup WCMD Challenges

Jillibean Soup hosted several challenges today on their blog.  After winning their Furfusion collection last month I had some left over papers and diecuts.  One of the best things about card making is using up the scraps!  Here’s my take on of one the sketches and using a diecut challenge.  Hopefully, I’ll have more to post tomorrow 🙂
